May 2019 Release Notes

While we’re adding a few improvements and bug fixes this month, our focus is on preparing to host the best Empower yet! We have major product news to share, so we hope to see you June 10-13 in Miami. Select the image below to register.

In this release

We changed the top menu bar in the mobile app to be fixed in position while you scroll, so that you can access the menu more quickly from anywhere.
You can now submit a support case directly from the Quick Base mobile app. To open a new case, select Submit support case from the More menu with the three dots. For organizations that have custom support URLs, this link will re-direct you to your web browser.
Audit logs now include access to code pages.
We improved the performance of:
- Deleting records in certain situations
- Reports that leverage certain types of grouping
- Dynamic filtering on reports with many filters

What’s fixed in Quick Base?

We continue to focus on quality. Below are the issues we fixed this month.

Note: Platform security, billing changes, back-end tooling, and performance are all ongoing commitments. Each release may include changes in these areas.

QBE012288	We've made changes to reduce the number of errors that can be encountered when connecting to Google Drive to refresh a connected table.
QBE013204	We are now using the scroll and load feature for alternate forms accessed through a URL.
QBE013208	We fixed an issue with how the scroll and load feature works for embedded Grid Edit reports.
QBE013249	We fixed an issue where color-coding formulas within a default report prevents overriding the default color in new and existing reports.
QBE013328	We fixed an issue with the show descriptions option for a report displaying in grid edit.
QBE013429	The color chart picker no longer intermittently renders with multiple color blocks.
QBE013435	On the Default Timeline Settings page of reporting defaults, we fixed an issue that intermittently affected saving changes.
QBE013445	For customers on the Essential Plan, we fixed an issue with creating personal reports.
QBE013451	Sorting and grouping a large report no longer displays an incorrect grouping total or date range.
QBE013454	We fixed an issue with the display of parent records in the new type-ahead search picker that only affected Microsoft Edge browser users.
QBE013536	The new type-ahead search picker now searches only visible columns or columns defined in the report.
QBE013539	When creating a summary report, the type of summarization allowed on a report formula will be based on the report formula’s field type.
